“Growing up in the San Gabriel Valley in the 90's, I lived in a world that was filled with music every day. I listened to a variety of music, from Latino music to house music and hip-hop (which I personally consider the BEST hip-hop ever created). Music is an ongoing influence in my life and now, in the lives of my children. As a child, I always had a natural calling to music.

I've always been fascinated with music, and I wanted to be a DJ and learn more about how it all worked. I finally had an opportunity to allow a curiosity to turn into something I absolutely love doing.

Every year, my mom would put together a huge holiday party. Every year, it would be the same problem: looking for a good DJ. We would encounter problems with DJs showing up late or playing whatever THEY wanted.

One year, I finally told my mom to pay me instead of a random person, who they may or may NOT like. I went out with the funds in hand and bought myself a small Numark Total Control console. I borrowed a friend’s speaker and I made it work. From that night on, guests and neighbors began booking me to DJ for their parties, and the rest is history. I still have my Numark console as a reminder of where I started.”
